Everton’s Struggles Continue as Manchester City Secure Win

Everton’s winless run against Manchester City continues, with Pep Guardiola’s side securing a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park. Despite a resolute display from David Moyes’ men, City’s quality ultimately shone through, with goals from Nico O’Reilly and Mateo Kovacic sealing the win.

However, not all Everton players impressed. Broja’s performance was widely panned, with journalist Chris Beesley giving him a match rating of 5/10. “He worked hard to try and make an impression but needed to be stronger as little stuck before he was hooked again,” Beesley said. Given his current form, it’s unlikely Broja will start games under Moyes going forward.

With Premier League survival secured, Moyes can now experiment with his lineup. Beto, who replaced Broja during the City clash, could be a potential starting option going forward. The question remains whether Moyes will give Broja another chance or stick with Beto, who seems to offer more threat in the final third.
