After making some savvy signings in free agency, including edge-rusher Joey Bosa and wide receiver Joshua Palmer, the Bills are now focused on finding the right players to bolster their secondary, pass rush, and receiving corps.
Three prospects who could fit the bill are Kenneth Grant, defensive tackle from Michigan; Nic Scourton, edge-rusher from Texas A&M; and Luther Burden III, wide receiver from Missouri.
Grant is a massive presence on the defensive line, known for stuffing runs and flashing some pass-rushing ability. In 2024, he racked up 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and three sacks. If he’s still available at 30, it would be a no-brainer for the Bills to pick him.
Scourton, on the other hand, is an elite speed rusher who could slide into a starting edge role opposite Joey Bosa. With 37 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and five sacks in 2024, Scourton has shown he can handle tougher competition.
Burden is an elite route-runner with sure hands who could fit in seamlessly with Josh Allen throwing him passes. Despite some off-field concerns, Burden’s talent and potential make him an intriguing option for the Bills.
The Bills’ decision will ultimately depend on their priorities and who they think will make the biggest impact on their team. With a strong roster already in place, the Bills are looking to make some strategic additions to take their team to the next level.
