Leeds United are poised to make a significant move in the transfer market with Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic emerging as a top target for Daniel Farke’s side.

It is understood Farke has grown increasingly unconvinced by Meslier’s performances, with his inconsistency cited as a concern during Leeds’ push for promotion. A summer exit for the 24-year-old now appears a strong possibility.
Should Meslier depart, Petrovic would represent a ready-made replacement. Known for his reflexes, distribution, and calmness under pressure, the Serbian stopper has impressed in limited opportunities at Chelsea and remains highly rated within Premier League circles.
Leeds’ ambition to secure Petrovic also speaks to the club’s wider intent to strengthen key areas ahead of a crucial return to the top flight. Under new ownership and with fresh investment behind them, the club is wasting no time in backing Farke in the transfer market.
