“Liam Payne’s Final Request: ‘I Need Another Seven Grams’ — Drug Trial Evidence Reveals Dark Last Hours”

Two men accused of supplying Liam Payne with cocaine ahead of his tragic death in Buenos Aires are to stand trial, as Argentinian prosecutors unveil compelling evidence, including CCTV footage and text messages allegedly linking them to the fatal incident.Waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz and former hotel worker Ezequiel David Pereyra have been held since January following Payne’s death in October 2024. The One Direction singer died after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in what authorities described as a “drug-fuelled episode.”According to prosecutors, CCTV footage shows Payne engaging with Pereyra by an open lift door shortly before his death, with the musician reportedly requesting “seven grams of the same drug he had handed him earlier.”Additional CCTV appears to capture Pereyra delivering drugs to Payne outside his hotel room around an hour before the fall. Prosecutors say five hotel employees have testified against him, including the head of maintenance, who claimed Pereyra had a \$100 note in his hand and admitted it was for “bringing drugs.”At 2:30 a.m. on 15 October, Payne reportedly requested a taxi to Pereyra’s residence, saying “someone had to deliver him something.” A car driver and external security footage confirmed the late-night meet-up, with cameras capturing Pereyra holding what prosecutors described as “some sort of package.”One hotel employee, a computer technician who shared a lift with Payne on the afternoon of his death, recalled hearing the singer tell Pereyra: “Hey man I will need another seven grams more for today.”Lead prosecutor Andres Madrea claims the final transaction occurred at 3:45 p.m. on October 16, with security footage capturing the exchange in a third-floor corridor.Paiz, meanwhile, is also accused of dealing to Payne on two previous occasions. Prosecutors allege the pair met when Payne dined at a restaurant in a wealthy Buenos Aires district where Paiz worked as a waiter. Messages on the singer’s phone reportedly show Payne asking for “five or five grams,” with Paiz replying, “I think I got to three,” and sending a photo of a bag of white powder.Security cameras allegedly confirm Paiz’s arrival at the hotel at 3:24 a.m. and show him leaving Payne’s room just after 8 a.m. the same day. A second drug exchange is also said to have occurred later, with Payne travelling to Paiz’s flat. Another message reportedly read: “I have DOLLARS US 100. Party.”Paiz, who denies selling drugs, told a local news outlet from jail: “I shared drugs with Liam but I didn’t sell them. I don’t know what I’m doing here, I’m a good person. I regret now giving Liam my Instagram because it all spiralled from there.”He added, “I miss the freedom I had, I miss work, I miss my family, my mum and my sisters.”Pereyra handed himself in on 6 January after briefly going on the run. He has not yet made a public statement. The trial date has not been set but is expected soon.
