Buffalo Bills Urged to Add Stefon Diggs-Like Receiver for Josh Allen
The Buffalo Bills are looking to maintain their high-powered offense in the upcoming season, but the loss of key players has raised concerns about their receiving corps. (link unavailable)’s Adam Rank has suggested that the Bills should add another receiver to complement Josh Allen, and Luther Burden III is his top pick.
“There are a lot of ways you could go here, with a number of great pass rushers still available to you,” Rank writes. “However, I really like the idea of adding another receiver. Burden has a game that is very reminiscent of Stefon Diggs and would be a great option for Josh Allen in a receiver corps that is a bit lacking outside of Khalil Shakir.”
Burden’s impressive skills, including a 4.41 40-yard dash and excellent ball skills, make him an attractive option for the Bills. He could be deployed out of the slot and provide Shakir with some much-needed help. Burden’s ability to win on all three levels would make him a danger on the field.
The Bills have already added Josh Palmer to bring a speed element to their offense, and pairing him with Burden would give Allen two home-run threats. With Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, the Bills would have a formidable receiving corps.
While some may not see the need to add another receiver as a priority, if one of the top talents is available in the first round, it would be hard to pass up on that opportunity. The Bills will need to carefully consider their options in the draft to ensure they make the right move for their team.
