Walker’s stats took a dip in his junior year, with fewer tackles, tackles for loss, stops, pressures, and sacks compared to his breakout sophomore season. However, it’s worth noting that he played with a stress fracture in his back during the 2024 season and is now fully healthy.
Lance Zierlein’s scouting report on Walker highlights his rare traits, but notes that he may require a heavier lean on projection over tape. “A defensive lineman with rare traits, Walker might require a heavier lean on projection over tape,” Zierlein said. “He’s tight-hipped and too upright to really sink in and command the gaps as an even-front defensive tackle.”
The Bills’ interest in Walker makes sense, given their need to address their interior defensive line and pass rush. With DaQuan Jones having one year left on his deal and Larry Ogunjobi suspended for the first six games, the Bills need to bolster their depth.
